The company is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking and culture-driven Director of Human Resources to join their growing organization. Reporting to the SVP, Human Resources Worldwide, the main responsibility of this role is to lead, build and drive a range of functions and initiatives and act as an HR Business Partner to management through counsel, coaching, and support of assigned departments while executing on the core HR business function. This role has a primary focus on partnering with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) organization and the SVP design Org. As a member of the HR leadership team, you will also participate in the overall strategic human resources direction and planning of programs and activities with Company philosophy and objectives in mind. You will recommend and may lead programs, policies, procedures, and practices that focus on attracting, retaining, and developing the employee base. This position requires a true strategic and operational business partner who has strong organization development experience, business acumen, strategic and analytical thinking, and the ability to influence, motivate, and communicate effectively with individuals at every level of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CTO, SVP Design, and senior technology leaders to understand their business goals and objectives, and identify HR strategies that support the desired organizational culture across engineering, product, and design teams while connecting to the specific needs of individual functional areas.
  • Serve as a trusted HR Business Partner to the CTO and SVP Design organizations, supporting a fast-moving, innovation-driven technical and creative workforce across global hubs.
  • Identify opportunities for organizational improvement within the CTO and SVP Design orgs and implement initiatives that support SaaS transformation and product innovation ambitions.
  • Educate, coach and partner with managers in all issues regarding people management, HR practices and policies, employment law, employee relations, change and performance management, and employee development.
  • Partner with leaders and HR on performance management including the facilitation of calibration meetings, compensation support, promotions, and the annual compensation year-end process — with particular sensitivity to technical compensation benchmarking for engineering and design talent.
  • Partner with hiring managers across the CTO and SVP Design organizations on recruitment efforts, supporting the company’s ability to attract top-tier talent in engineering, computer vision, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and product design.
  • Provide guidance and input on organizational design, workforce planning, and succession planning within the technology organization.
  • Own and administer US benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and ancillary benefits, ensuring plans are competitive, compliant, and clearly communicated to employees.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert on the company's 401(k) plan, including plan administration, compliance (ERISA, IRS regulations, annual non-discrimination testing), employee education and enrollment, and partnership with plan recordkeepers and advisors.
  • Lead annual benefits renewal processes, partnering with brokers and vendors to evaluate plan design, cost, and competitiveness against technology industry benchmarks.
  • Partner with local HR and legal teams to oversee benefits and employment compliance across international locations, including Ireland and other EMEA and APAC jurisdictions, ensuring programs are locally competitive and compliant with applicable regulations.
  • Ensure we embed a customer-focused culture of rewarding high performance — embedding this tactically and strategically with leaders — reminding them to recognize their people.
