About The Position

The HR Coordinator supports day-to-day HR operations by managing employee lifecycle administration, maintaining accurate records, and helping ensure HR processes are carried out consistently and efficiently. This role plays a key part in onboarding, offboarding, HR systems updates, compliance documentation, and employee support, while also helping improve the overall effectiveness of the HR function.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of HR coordination, people operations, or administrative support experience required
  • 1 year experience with HRIS platforms (preferably Paycom), spreadsheets, and employee recordkeeping.
  • Strong detail orientation, organization, discretion, and follow-through.
  • Willing to take initiative to ensure the HR function runs smoothly.
  • Comfort supporting multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including documentation, system updates, and process communication.
  • Maintain employee records, personnel files, and HRIS data with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support leave, benefits, payroll, and compliance administration in partnership with internal or external providers.
  • Respond to employee and manager questions related to HR processes, policies, and routine requests.
  • Works closely with finance leadership and payroll team members
  • Stays current on state and federal HR compliance and laws
  • Identify process improvements that increase efficiency, consistency, and employee experience within HR operations.
