About The Position

Pearl Abyss America, Inc. is seeking a detailed-oriented and organized HR Coordinator to support daily human resources operations. The HR Coordinator will assist with recruitment, employee records management, onboarding, payroll support, and general administrative duties to ensure smooth HR processes within the organization. This position is fully onsite and requires regular in-person collaboration with employees, managers, and leadership teams. The video games industry is transforming how players are entertained, communicating with each other, and interacting online and on their digital devices. The ideal candidate will have strong organization skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • 1~3 years of HR experience required
  • Creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to learn and grow
  • Excellent Excel experience is required
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and ATS (e.g., ADP, Rippling, Breezyhr)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to research discrepancies and solve problems
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
  • Coordinate and conduct new employee onboarding and orientation
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
  • Support payroll and benefits administration
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
  • Help organize training sessions and development programs
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws
  • Assist with performance management processes
  • Prepare HR reports and documentation
  • Support employee engagement activities and company events
  • Assist and back up the operations assistant with scheduling, ordering supplies and other admin duties as needed.
