Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Internship or campus work experience a plus.
  • Experience with Workday or other HR systems is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Support new hires and onboarding processes, including preparing for new hires, scheduling and running orientations, and ensuring accurate employee records in Workday.
  • Coordinate first-day logistics such as laptops, badges, and desk setup, and communicate with new hires about expectations.
  • Assist with offboarding processes, including preparing paperwork, updating employee status in Workday, and handling unemployment forms and inquiries.
  • Learn and support HR programs such as FMLA, Disability, and Fit for Duty, including reviewing leave requests, gathering documentation, and maintaining accurate leave records.
  • Coordinate communication between employees, managers, and HR, and support the return-to-work process.
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
  • Serve as a resource for employees by answering routine questions about HR policies.
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
