Requirements

  • Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and sensitivity to confidential information
  • Work under critical deadlines and heavy workloads, under direct supervision, to support the Human Resources Department.
  • Performs a variety of clerical/administrative duties for the HR Department staff; duties including typing, filing (including maintenance of hourly personnel files), letters, memos, reports, sending faxes, photocopying, utilizing Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

  • Follow and enforce all plant safety rules and policies.
  • Understand and promote Magna’s philosophies (Magna’s Corporate Constitution, Operational Principles and Employee’s Charter)
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and sensitivity to confidential information
  • Administration, setup, and maintenance of HR Information System(s), including design, implementation, and training users on system components. This includes but is not limited to Sharepoint, PeopleSoft, HRB, eTIme, Facility Commander etc
  • Assist HR Team with identifying HR information system needs for continuous improvement of workflow and system functionality
  • Maximize the effectiveness of all HR information systems, along with related database tracking systems, through system design, development, and implementation in order to eliminate the need for secondary data sources
  • Set up and train new employees on time clock use
  • Administration and maintenance of employee badge software, including issuance of badges
  • Work under critical deadlines and heavy workloads, under direct supervision, to support the Human Resources Department.
  • Assist in HR’s roles in obtaining and maintaining ISO/TS16949 Quality Management Systems standards and help guide HR to meet and maintain departmental requirements.
  • Performs a variety of clerical/administrative duties for the HR Department staff; duties including typing, filing (including maintenance of hourly personnel files), letters, memos, reports, sending faxes, photocopying, utilizing Microsoft Office software.
  • Responsible to log all performance records into HRB system & update appropriate spreadsheets (performance reviews, coaching, progressive discipline, training records, etc.)
  • Log daily call-ins into the appropriate spreadsheet.
  • Promotes good housekeeping (5S)
