About The Position

Another Source is partnering with The Claremont Colleges Services (TCCS) to recruit a Human Resources Business Partner in Claremont, CA (Hybrid).TCCS supports the renowned Claremont Colleges consortium, serving more than 8,000 students and 3,400 faculty and staff. This HRBP will partner with leaders across TCCS to support their ~300 employees by leading recruitment efforts, supporting employee relations, and helping drive meaningful HR initiatives. This role offers a hybrid work environment (a blend of onsite and remote work). Through more than 30 shared programs and services , TCCS supports 8,000+ students and 3,400 faculty and staff across institutions such as Pomona College, Claremont McKenna College, Harvey Mudd College, and Scripps College. The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, supporting recruitment, employee relations, and HR initiatives that strengthen the organization. This role offers variety and impact. You’ll partner closely with leaders to solve people challenges, guide hiring decisions, and support engagement and workforce initiatives across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3–4 years of HR experience , or a combination of education and experience totaling 7–10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience supporting recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations
  • Strong interpersonal and consultative skills with the ability to partner with leaders at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while handling confidential information with discretion
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office tools

Nice To Haves

  • HR certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP
  • Experience in higher education or union environments
  • Familiarity with Workday HCM

Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment efforts in partnership with hiring managers and support strong hiring decisions
  • Lead employee relations and advise managers on workplace concerns and performance management
  • Serve as an HR advisor to leaders , providing guidance on policies, employee engagement, and people strategies
  • Ensure HR practices align with employment laws and organizational policies
  • Support initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and organizational culture
  • Review HR data and workforce reports to identify trends and insights
  • Audit employee transactions in Workday t o ensure accuracy and compliance
