The HR role is a strategic, hands-on partner who aligns HR strategy with business goals while helping teams thrive. This role supports leaders and employees across key HR functions—with a primary focus on recruiting talent that supports LDG’s federal government contracts and projects. These roles often require specialized skills, experience working in regulated environments, and the ability to contribute to mission-critical infrastructure and public sector initiatives. In addition, this position provides day-to-day HR support for assigned offices, serving as a trusted resource for leaders and employees. You’ll work closely with HR Leadership and a collaborative HR team to deliver an exceptional employee experience while building the talent pipeline that drives LDG’s continued growth. Your work will have a direct impact—supporting both our people and the projects that make a difference.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of six (6) years of HR experience (A/E industry experience preferred).
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • Occasional travel may be required (local and overnight as needed).

Responsibilities

  • Partner with recruiting and hiring leaders to attract, assess, and onboard top talent, including managing full-cycle recruitment for designated departments (including the Federal group).
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing strategic guidance on talent management, organizational design, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Implement and support HR programs, policies, and initiatives aligned with company culture, values, and compliance requirements.
  • Coach and train managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to strengthen leadership capability and team development.
  • Lead investigations into employee concerns, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant resolutions.
  • Monitor HR trends, best practices, and legal developments; recommend and implement improvements to maintain compliance and competitiveness.
  • Support annual benefits open enrollment, including communications, process improvements, and system-related support.
  • Assist with regulatory compliance, reporting, and government filings (e.g., EEO, VETS, AAP).
