Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP credential preferred (or the ability to obtain it within one year).
• Comprehensive working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including compensation, diversity, and federal/state employment laws.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS systems (experience with Jobalign, EHX, or iSolved is a plus).
• Ability to stand or walk for 10–15% of the shift and sit for prolonged periods in front of a computer screen.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to move freely throughout the office; driving a motor vehicle is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly meetings with respective business units to stay aligned on operational needs.
• Provide day-to-day HR guidance and performance management counseling, including coaching, disciplinary actions, and professional development.
• Analyze trends and metrics to develop tailored HR solutions, programs, and policies.
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues through thorough, objective investigations.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements to ensure regulatory compliance and reduce legal risks.
• Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers.
• Provide critical input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
• Identify training needs and monitor the success of training programs to foster promotion from within.
