About The Position

KBRA, a leading global credit rating agency, is seeking a Temporary HR Business Partner to support the HR team for approximately 6 months. This role will provide hands-on support across key HR processes including performance management cycles, employee relations support, immigration case coordination, and HR systems administration. This position will partner closely with members of the HR Business Partner, Talent Acquisition and HR Operations teams to ensure continuity of core HR processes and provide timely support to managers and employees across the firm. The Human Resources Department is responsible for supporting the employee experience at KBRA, including recruiting, talent development, engagement, compensation, benefits, and HR operations. As a lean HR organization, the team collaborates closely to deliver high-impact HR initiatives while maintaining responsive support for employees and managers across the firm.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required and at least 8 years of HR experience, including 3-5 years in a strategic HRBP role
  • Experience supporting performance management cycles and employee relations matters
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and HR data management

  • Experience in financial services or professional services environments is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of the mid-year and annual performance management cycles
  • Assist managers with performance review processes, documentation, and system workflows
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management best practices
  • Support the HRBP team in employee relations matters, including documentation, investigations, and follow-up actions
  • Assist with reasonable accommodation requests in partnership with HR Business Partners
  • Provide day-to-day HR guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and processes
  • Coordinate with immigration counsel on active visa cases
  • Track case progress and ensure timely documentation from managers and employees
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting of immigration matters
  • Partner with HR Operations to support ongoing cleanup and optimization of the HRIS system
  • Assist with updates to organizational structure, historical data corrections, and reporting requests
  • Support data validation and ensure HR data integrity
  • Work closely with HR Operations, Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners to ensure smooth delivery of HR programs
  • Proactively identify and assist in evolving process and policy improvements to increase efficiencies and productivity in HR operational processes
  • Support ad hoc HR initiatives and projects as needed
