About The Position

This is not a traditional HRBP role. Client is looking for a strategic HR transformation leader who can evaluate organizational structures, facilitate difficult conversations with leaders, analyze workforce data, and drive executive-level change initiatives. This role is best viewed as a Director-level Strategic HRBP / Organizational Effectiveness Consultant focused on a 12-month Organization Structure Optimization initiative rather than a traditional HR generalist or employee relations position.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university. Combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Eight plus (8+) years experience in similar HR Business Partnering role.
  • Five plus (5+) years as director-level or higher HRBP to leaders.
  • Managerial experience required.
  • Knowledge of broad HR technical competencies and demonstrated leadership competencies is required with a strong sense of personal accountability.
  • Ability to build deep, credible and influential business partnerships throughout the client groups by demonstrating an understanding of business fundamentals and decision-making processes. Ability to build relationships with senior leaders and a variety of stakeholders to drive organizational change.
  • Demonstrated ability to use various mechanisms to gather data
  • Possesses strong analytical skills, active listening, critical thinking skills and interpersonal acumen to analyze and determine appropriate recommendations and their implications.
  • Thought partner for business leaders on all people strategies within a client group.
  • Demonstrated organization and problem-solving skills. Demonstrates skill in prioritizing competing work assignments, and timelines.
  • Excellent presentation skills; strong listening and coaching skills and good oral/written communication.
  • Proven planning and organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Understands and demonstrates project management skills including successful management of projects from planning phase through completion.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with organization development, leadership effectiveness, dynamics of the leadership team and coaching leaders is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build project roadmaps and design systematic assessment processes
  • Facilitate interviews and working sessions
  • Partner with SMEs and co-leads to develop restructuring recommendations
  • Design and lead data collection processes across multiple organizations
  • Conduct detailed organizational diagnostics on selected functions
  • Validate and analyze employee data and operating models to aid in the identification of optimization opportunities
  • Review and compare job descriptions, highlighting opportunities to differentiate work across levels and organizations
  • Collaborate with HRBPs and executive leaders to ensure team alignment throughout the process
  • Prepare executive-level deliverables and communications materials
  • Provide communications and change management support
  • Deliver administrative support to governance processes
