About The Position

Eversource is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Business Partner Intern to join our Human Resources team. This internship is ideal for a student currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field who is interested in gaining hands-on experience supporting employees, managers, and HR initiatives within a dynamic business environment. This role will provide exposure to a variety of HR functions including employee relations, talent management, organizational support, training coordination, recruiting, and HR operations. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, professional, and interested in developing a career in Human Resources. Kickstart your career with hands-on experience at New England’s largest electric utility. As an Eversource Safety Intern, you’ll gain real-world exposure to the energy industry while receiving professional development, coaching, and training. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) preferred
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Support HR Business Partners with day-to-day HR initiatives and projects
  • Maintain and organize HRBP SharePoint site - including documents and trackers
  • Support internal communications and presentation development
  • Conduct research and assist with HRBP initiative and process improvements
  • Participate in special projects and other administrative tasks as needed
