HR Business Manager
About The Position
The Business / HR Manager supports the daily operations of the residential youth services program by managing administrative, financial, and human resources functions. The role helps ensure accurate financial processes, compliance with employment regulations, and a positive, professional work environment. The manager also provides administrative support to the Facility Administrator and Corporate HR. Youth Opportunity operates a secure, 24-bed assessment center providing trauma-informed care to girls ages 10 to 17. The temporary program combines structured clinical assessment, individualized support planning, and daily therapeutic services. Youth typically remain in care for about 30 days and receive intake, multidisciplinary evaluation, education, independent living and social skills training, and initial mental health stabilization.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in office administration or HR support.
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass background checks.

- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field.
- Experience in a residential treatment, juvenile justice, or healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with budgeting, payroll, or HR software.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and vendor relationships.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with annual budgeting.
- Maintain facility records and track operational expenses.
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and employee file management.
- Support payroll, benefits administration, and staff compliance.
- Facilitate employee recognition, training tracking, and policy adherence.
- Provide administrative support to the Facility Administrator and Corporate HR.
- Maintain knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and organizational policies.
