HR Business Manager
About The Position
The HR Business Manager supports the daily operations of West Central Ohio Academy by managing administrative, financial, and human resources functions. The role helps ensure accurate financial processes, compliance with employment regulations, and a positive, professional work environment. The position is based at West Central Ohio Academy in Troy, Ohio, and is full-time, typically Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings or weekends. Pay is up to $60,000 per year. West Central Ohio Academy, operated by Youth Opportunity, provides gender-responsive, evidence-based residential and behavioral health treatment for adolescent girls experiencing mental health and behavioral challenges. Its multidisciplinary team provides therapeutic and specialized programming, with families involved in treatment and transition planning.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience in office administration or HR support.
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass background checks.

- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field.
- Experience in a residential treatment, juvenile justice, or healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with budgeting, payroll, or HR software.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and vendor relationships.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with annual budgeting.
- Maintain facility records and track operational expenses.
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and employee file management.
- Support payroll, benefits administration, and staff compliance.
- Facilitate employee recognition, training tracking, and policy adherence.
- Provide administrative support to the Facility Administrator and Corporate HR.
- Maintain knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and organizational policies.
