About The Position

The HR Associate will be responsible for coordinating employee benefit eligibility, enrollments, terminations, and payments. This role ensures the accuracy of data change requests through the HRIS system and processes these changes. The associate will conduct new hire onboarding and termination processes, prepare employee census information for various reports, and partner with the Payroll Manager for payroll accuracy. Additionally, the position involves providing employment verifications, supporting recruitment coordination, assisting with HRIS reports, and managing fleet-related documentation. This is a full-time, onsite position requiring five days per week in the office.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in human resources, psychology, or related field required
  • 1 year of administrative experience in a fast-paced HR department preferred.
  • Team player with a high sense of urgency and motivation.
  • Must have sound interpersonal, communication, organization and analytic skills.
  • High proficiency with MS Office.
  • Ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality, professionalism, attention to detail, and customer service.

  • PHR or SHRM-CP a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates employee benefit eligibility, enrollments, terminations, and payments.
  • Ensures accuracy of data change requests through HRIS system and processes data changes.
  • Conducts new hire onboarding and termination processes.
  • Prepares employee census information for insurance, 401(k), and other reports.
  • Partners with Payroll Manager to ensure accuracy of employee data for semi-monthly and monthly payrolls.
  • Provides written and verbal employment verifications.
  • Supports recruitment coordination, including scheduling interviews, posting positions, and communicating with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Assists with auditing and running HRIS reports to support HR and cross-functional requests.
  • Supports fleet management, including tracking vehicle assignments, maintenance, and compliance documentation.
