About The Position

Eaton’s Bussmann Division is currently seeking a HR Analyst. This role is based out of our Ellisville, MO location. The HR Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth HR operations by managing essential digital records, assisting with HR-related queries, and analyzing HR data to provide rapid solutions to challenges. In addition, this position is responsible for supporting the administrative needs, compliance, and personnel functions of the Human Resources department. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR or a related business field from an accredited institution
  • Prior internship/work experience in HR or related business field required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Responsibilities

  • Strategically deliver HR services, programs and initiatives aligned with the business strategy and Eaton Leadership Model.
  • Assist with recruiting, interview scheduling, screening, and orienting new employees
  • Maintain employee personnel files
  • Assist employees with general issues including items requiring Services tickets, JOE and kiosk usage, Sedgwick processes, site policies, etc.
  • Actively participate in site Engagement Committee and drive actions to support positive employee relations
  • Update site-wide communications within the DC and Division
  • Lead and assist with HR projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with the HR manager to make informed decisioned based on data insights
  • Ensure the DC stays up to date on issues, queries, and concerns
  • Establish effective communications to keep employees informed of policies, procedures, and events.
  • Foster a culture where ownership of health and safety is embraced by all employees.
  • Partner with the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) team to ensure compliance with state/federal safety requirements and drive “zero incidents” safety culture.
  • Support positive employee relations to provide an optimal work environment for all employees. Effectively deploy communication plans and utilize assessment tools (e.g. the employee survey)
  • Coordinate disability claims (STD and LTD), leaves of absence (FMLA), and workers’ compensation (WC) claims with HR Services, third party administrator (TPA), and relevant parties.
  • Lead and support division-wide special projects and initiatives as assigned.
