The HR Administrator supports the HR Operations team in managing employee relations, unemployment claims management, and pandemic case management. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or another related field is required.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Ability to be organized, detail-oriented, and to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and respectfully with others.
  • Must possess exceptional organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to balance and prioritize simultaneous projects and tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Must present the ability to execute job duties under stressful circumstances such as last-minute deadlines or other difficult situations.
  • Must be willing to travel to various locations via private or public transportation.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Regular attendance, work ethic and strong interpersonal skills are required for success in this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a human resources role is preferred.
  • Experience using UKG or another HR information system is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee administration of unemployment claims.
  • Support intake of employee relations concerns and hand off to HR Manager or HR Generalist for action.
  • Maintain organization of electronic and hard copy team member business operations files, i.e. shared drive.
  • Coordinate company events such as holiday parties or volunteer activities.
  • Provide administrative support for recording meeting notes, coordinating meetings and other responsibilities assigned, including support of the CHRO.
  • Research compliance of state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws and recommend updates to policies and procedures as appropriate. Assure all labor law posters for the Portfolio are up to date.
  • Participate as HR Representative for Health and Safety committee (if applicable, based on location).
  • Coordinate pandemic case management and provide monthly reports on cases (when applicable).
  • Research education on current HR trends, make recommendations when changes occur.
  • Take initiative to collaborate and advance goals with team members.
  • Collaborate on projects to support annual People Team initiatives.
  • Back up benefits administrator during absences.
