About The Position

The HR Administrator will support Human Resources and Payroll operations, helping to maintain accurate employee records and meet critical processing deadlines. This blended role includes payroll administration and HR support including employee recordkeeping, onboarding and offboarding, and responding to employee and manager questions. This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented person who balances meticulous data management with people-centric support while maintaining absolute confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Process changes in the life cycle of an employee including but not limited to, onboarding new hires, processing promotions and transfers, and offboarding employees in our HRIS.
  • Review timecard exceptions and assist with reviewing payroll for US and Canada.
  • Prepare and ensure all employee records are maintained and updated with new hire information, changes in job/employment status, performance evaluations, etc.
  • Respond to employee and leader inquiries in a timely and professional manner while facilitating a superior employee experience.
  • Identify common inquiries from employees and leaders and suggest process improvements and/or additional job aids and communications to address root causes.
  • Prioritize issues and escalate as needed.
  • Assist other members of the HR team, as needed, with various projects including benefit re-enrollment, annual review cycle, reporting & analytics, recruitment, employee relations, etc.
  • Remain up to date on company compliance/policy changes and employment labor standards.
  • Review mail for HR department and distribute to appropriate person/action accordingly.
  • Create scheduled and ad-hoc reporting as needed.
