About The Position

Achilles Group is seeking an HR Administrator/Recruiting Coordinator to join their team. This role will support both the recruiting process and HR Shared Services, involving various Human Resources functions and projects for clients and the overall business. Achilles Group is a boutique HR consulting firm in Houston, Texas, dedicated to providing HR expertise to small and mid-sized businesses with a "professionally human" approach. Requirements

  • 1+ year of HR, recruiting, or other applicable experience (such as internships) strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional organization, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and flex between different work streams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency with MS Office products, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Houston-based.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaboratively work with clients to truly understand the requirements of each position assigned by conducting recruiting kick-off calls with hiring managers at our clients.
  • Create job ads and post positions on our applicant tracking system.
  • Create interview questions and conduct video interviews.
  • Provide weekly communication updates while establishing a relationship with the hiring managers.
  • Support a variety of HR functions and projects across multiple clients, including handbooks, FLSA audits, employment law research, job descriptions, compensation-related projects, and much more!
  • Research and respond to HR-related issues and support employee relations interventions and initiatives.
  • Assist with an ever-expanding menu of HR-related tasks and projects as the role grows.
