About The Position

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Recruiting & HR Coordinator to join our growing team in Kenner, Louisiana. This role combines full-cycle recruiting with HR operations and administrative support. The ideal candidate excels at sourcing and hiring top talent while also providing reliable day-to-day HR coordination across the entire employee lifecycle. This role will partner closely with HR leadership, hiring managers, employees, and Finance to ensure an exceptional candidate and employee experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of progressively responsible experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, HR coordination, HR operations, or a combination of both
  • Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes across multiple position types and levels
  • Working knowledge of U.S. employment practices, HR administration, and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Experience supporting onboarding, employee records management, and HR systems administration
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word

  • Experience with BambooHR, ADP Workforce Now, or similar HRIS, payroll, and applicant tracking systems
  • Experience recruiting for gaming, technology, digital media, or other fast-paced operational environments
  • Experience supporting multi-state employee populations

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned positions, from requisition approval through offer acceptance and onboarding
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop recruiting strategies, and ensure timely hiring outcomes
  • Create and maintain job postings, job descriptions, and recruitment materials
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, employee referrals, direct outreach, and other recruiting channels
  • Screen resumes, develop candidate assessment frameworks, conduct candidate interviews, and assess qualifications, experience, skills, and cultural fit/add
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Coordinate interview schedules and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams
  • Extend offers and support employment negotiations in partnership with HR Leadership and hiring managers
  • Track recruiting activity, maintain ATS records, and provide recruitment metrics and reporting
  • Attend recruitment, networking, and employer branding events to promote the company as an employer of choice
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, candidate experience, and hiring outcomes
  • Provide day-to-day HR operational support throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employment documentation, and employee records administration
  • Prepare employment-related documents, verification letters, policy acknowledgements, and other HR correspondence
  • Maintain employee records and HR files in accordance with company policy and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Enter, update, and audit employee data within HRIS, payroll, and talent management systems
  • Coordinate onboarding requirements, including background checks, I-9 verification, E-Verify, required training, and system access requests
  • Support payroll administration by collaborating with Finance to ensure accurate employee data and timely processing
  • Track attendance, PTO, leaves of absence, and related employee records
  • Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment activities, retirement plan coordination, and employee inquiries
  • Support compliance initiatives, audits, reporting requirements, and HR projects
  • Assist HR Leadership with performance review processes, policy administration, employee communications, and special projects
  • Support FMLA, Workers Comp, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability, and other similar issues, claim management, documentation, and leave types
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
  • Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
  • Respond to routine employee and applicant inquiries while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • Perform other duties as assigned
