About The Position

As the HR Administrator, Compliance, you will help protect the integrity of the Y’s people practices by ensuring employee records, onboarding processes, and HR systems are accurate, complete, and compliant. Your attention to detail will strengthen the associate experience, reduce organizational risk, and help build a workplace rooted in trust, consistency, and accountability. By identifying compliance gaps and partnering across departments to implement solutions, you will support the associates who bring the Y’s mission to life every day.

Requirements

  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct ongoing audits of HR documentation, employee files, and systems to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Review onboarding, background checks, I-9 verification, employment documentation, employee records, and separation records.
  • Identify compliance gaps, risks, and inconsistencies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain HR data integrity and support accurate internal and external audit reporting.
  • Track compliance logs, audit findings, corrective actions, and key compliance metrics.
  • Coordinate audit requests and documentation reviews across departments and teams.
  • Manage onboarding activities for at least one assigned product line.
  • Conduct required employment reference checks in accordance with onboarding procedures.
  • Maintain confidential information and follow applicable laws, organizational policies, and record-retention requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR partners and leaders to strengthen compliance processes and reporting standards.
  • Model the Y’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

It emphasizes treating youth with respect and fairness, avoiding inappropriate physical or verbal interactions, and adhering to established standards of affection. The policy strictly prohibits any form of abuse, bullying, or harassment and mandates the reporting of suspected mistreatment. Additionally, associates and volunteers must complete training on child abuse prevention and comply with legal reporting requirements to safeguard youth.
