About The Position

HP and 2020 Companies are hiring a part-time HP Retail Sales Associate to represent HP products at Best Buy and surrounding office supply stores. The role focuses on driving sales, creating excitement around the HP brand, demonstrating products, and tailoring demonstrations to customer needs. The representative builds rapport with customers and professional relationships with store management and employees, trains store associates on HP products and services, maintains clean and functional displays, and reports sales activity and competitive insights.

The position offers $18.50 per hour plus a weekly performance bonus of up to $100 based on individual sales performance. The schedule is up to 15 hours per week, with Saturday and Sunday preferred and flexible Friday options potentially available based on location needs. Paid online training and a $25 monthly technology reimbursement are offered. The role requires regular and prompt attendance, meeting sales goals, and contributing to customer and client satisfaction.

Requirements

• At least one year of job experience is required, as stated in the position overview.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months of prior sales, retail, telecom, or marketing experience is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate HP products at Best Buy and surrounding office supply stores.
• Engage customers, build rapport, and create a memorable customer experience.
• Maintain professional relationships with store management and staff.

• Maintain product displays so they are clean, functional, and ready for demonstrations.

• Accurately document and report sales and communicate activity to Retail Operations.
• Keep the work station or kiosk clean, well-organized, functional, and presentable.
• Submit all paperwork completely and accurately.
• Maintain regular and prompt attendance and contribute to customer/client satisfaction.
