About The Position

HP and 2020 Companies have partnered to hire an HP Retail Sales Associate at Best Buy in Brentwood, Tennessee. The role promotes HP products and services in a retail environment by demonstrating products, engaging customers, assessing their needs, and helping them make selections. The associate builds professional relationships with customers, store management, and employees; trains store associates on HP products and services; maintains clean, functional, and demonstration-ready displays; and reports sales activity and competitive insights.

This is a part-time position offering up to 15 hours per week, depending on availability and store needs. The schedule is flexible on weekdays, with some weekends required; evenings, weekends, and holidays may also be required as needed. Pay is $17 per hour, with a weekly performance bonus of up to $100 based on individual sales performance. The bonus program may change at the company's discretion.

Requirements

• At least one year of job experience is required in the overview qualifications.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of prior sales, retail, telecommunications, or marketing experience required in the qualifications section.
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Outgoing personality, eagerness to learn, and comfort engaging customers and demonstrating products after training.
• Ability to participate in a selling process that overcomes objections and connects product features to customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate HP products at Best Buy stores and tailor demonstrations to customer needs.
• Engage with customers, build rapport, create a memorable experience, and offer courteous assistance.
• Assess customer needs and recommend products and services that fit those needs.
• Provide information about products and services and help customers make selections with confidence.
• Meet or exceed personal monthly sales goals and established weekly or monthly sales quotas.
• Maintain professional relationships and interactions with store management, staff, customers, and fellow employees.
• Train retail store associates on HP products and services.
• Keep displays and the work station or kiosk clean, organized, functional, presentable, and ready for demonstrations.
• Accurately document and report sales, track and communicate activity to Retail Operations, and submit paperwork completely and accurately.
• Provide reporting and competitive insights.
• Contribute to team efforts by completing related tasks.
• Maintain regular and prompt attendance and support customer satisfaction.
