About The Position

HP and 2020 Companies are hiring a part-time HP Retail Sales Associate to represent HP products at Best Buy in Gainesville, Florida. The role focuses on driving sales, generating excitement about the HP brand, demonstrating products, and helping customers identify products that meet their needs. The representative builds rapport with customers and maintains professional relationships with store management and employees.

The position offers up to 15 hours per week, depending on availability and store needs, with flexible weekday shifts and some weekends required. The representative is expected to meet sales goals, provide a positive customer experience, maintain clean and functional displays, document and report sales activity, and keep the work area organized. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of prior sales, retail, telecom, or marketing experience.
• One year of job experience is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Outgoing personality, willingness to learn, and comfort engaging with customers and demonstrating products after training.
• Ability to use a selling process that addresses objections and connects product recommendations to customer needs.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment.
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate HP products at Best Buy stores and tailor demonstrations to customers’ needs.
• Engage customers, build rapport, create a memorable experience, and offer courteous assistance.
• Assess customer needs and recommend products and services; help customers make selections and build confidence.
• Sell products and services in retail stores, kiosks, and/or event environments.
• Meet or exceed monthly personal sales goals and established monthly or weekly sales quotas.
• Maintain professional relationships and interactions with store management, staff, customers, and fellow employees.
• Train retail store associates on HP products and services.
• Maintain product displays and the work station or kiosk so they are clean, functional, organized, presentable, and ready for demonstrations.
• Accurately document and report sales, track and communicate activity to Retail Operations, and submit paperwork completely and accurately.
• Provide competitive insights and contribute to team efforts by completing related tasks.
• Maintain regular and prompt attendance and support customer/client satisfaction.
