About The Position

HP and 2020 Companies have partnered to hire a part-time HP Retail Sales Associate to represent HP products at Best Buy 255 in Humble, Texas. The role focuses on driving sales, building excitement around the HP brand, demonstrating products, and helping customers select products that meet their needs. The representative also builds professional relationships with store management and employees, trains store associates on HP products and services, maintains product displays, and reports sales activity and competitive insights.

The position offers up to 15 hours per week based on availability and store needs, with flexible weekday shifts and some weekends required. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be needed. Pay is $17.50 per hour, with a weekly performance bonus of up to $100 based on individual sales performance; the bonus program may change at the company's discretion.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of prior sales, retail, telecommunications, or marketing experience.
• One year of job experience required, as stated in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate HP products at Best Buy stores and tailor demonstrations to customer needs.
• Engage customers, build rapport, create a memorable experience, and assist them with product selections.
• Sell products and services and meet or exceed personal monthly sales goals and established weekly or monthly quotas.
• Welcome customers, assess their needs, recommend suitable products, and provide information about products and services.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with store management and staff.
• Train retail store associates on HP products and services.
• Maintain clean, functional, well-organized, presentable, and demo-ready displays and workstations.
• Accurately document and report sales, track and communicate activity to Retail Operations, and submit paperwork completely and accurately.
• Provide competitive insights and contribute to team efforts.
• Maintain customer confidentiality and meet attendance and customer-satisfaction expectations.
