About The Position

The Housing Stability Program Coordinator provides direct staff management and program coordination across four housing programs: Multnomah Stability Initiatives (MSI), Short Term Rental Assistance (STRA), the Mobile Housing Team (MHT), and Emergency Housing Voucher (EHV). The coordinator leads staff and program operations, supports quality client outcomes, and ensures timely completion of funder-required reporting, budget monitoring, and supervision. This is a temporary, full-time position running from November 1 through December 24, based at IRCO’s Asian Family Center in Portland, Oregon, with a hybrid schedule. EHV provides home-based case management and support to families experiencing or at risk of homelessness as they move into permanent housing and stabilize. MHT is a Rapid Re-Housing program serving unhoused families with housing placement and retention case management. MSI provides culturally appropriate, long-term self-sufficiency services to low-income Multnomah County households with school-aged children; STRA funds help MSI clients experiencing financial hardship. The position requires strong communication, case management, housing and social-services knowledge, time management, and paperwork skills. The coordinator supervises staff and oversees program planning, service quality, budgets, records, reporting, and program data. The role requires a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and full use of an automobile during work hours.
