Its mission is to support the academic enterprise of a vibrant research institution by providing comprehensive event-planning services and resources to campus departments and external clients. The Housing Operations Manager supports all aspects of the summer housing operation, which serves more than 100 programs annually as well as internship housing and generates over $4.5 million in housing revenue. During the season, the Manager works closely with the Associate Director of Housing Operations on day-to-day operations. The operation runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week from mid-May through late August; the Manager may serve as the main point of contact and be on call throughout the season. During the off-season, the Manager works with internal and external clients, University service departments, and external vendors to prepare for the upcoming season. The Manager also recruits, trains, and supervises student employees who execute client programming.
