As the Housing Operations Coordinator, you are a critical connector between residents, case managers, and systems like Housing Support and MNsure. Your work ensures that benefits are secured, documentation is accurate, and funding flows appropriately — directly supporting residents in maintaining housing and accessing care. This is a fully in-person role based at Avivo Village, must be available to work Fridays. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 4 years of experience working with public benefits (MNsure, Housing Support, or similar systems)
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness
  • Experience using electronic health record systems (Credible preferred)
  • Ability to manage complex documentation with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced environment
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and systems
  • Knowledge of public benefits systems, housing resources, and community services
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
  • Ability to work fully in-person, must be able to work Fridays
  • Commitment to culturally responsive, person‑centered work

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee Housing Support paperwork, intakes, and benefit documentation to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Review, submit, and track documentation with Hennepin County and other benefit systems
  • Serve as a liaison between Avivo Village and county partners to resolve complex Housing Support cases
  • Support residents with MNsure enrollment and renewal as a Certified Application Counselor
  • Monitor benefit eligibility, track discrepancies, and ensure continuity of services
  • Manage housing support billing coordination, including eligibility checks, receivables tracking, and discrepancy reporting
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in electronic health record systems
  • Coordinate communication, documentation, and workflows to support case managers and program operations
  • Train and support staff on Housing Support processes and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure effective, coordinated service delivery
