Housing is more than a place to live—it can be the foundation for stability, health, connection, and opportunity. The City of Greensboro's Housing First Plus initiative takes a people-centered approach to homelessness by pairing immediate, low-barrier housing with the intensive support people need to build lasting stability. As a Housing First Plus Case Manager, you'll build trusting relationships with individuals experiencing chronic homelessness and help them navigate the challenges that can come with maintaining housing, accessing healthcare, connecting to benefits, and achieving personal goals. This is meaningful, community-based work for someone who believes that every person deserves dignity, choice, and an opportunity to thrive. Housing First Plus provides immediate, low-barrier housing paired with intensive, wraparound support for individuals experiencing chronic homelessness who frequently interact with emergency and crisis systems. The "Plus" represents enhanced client support and dedicated landlord engagement strategies designed to promote long-term housing retention. As a Housing First Plus Case Manager, you'll provide intensive, community-based case management focused on housing stability, wellness, self-sufficiency, and each client's individual goals. You'll meet people where they are—literally and figuratively—and help remove barriers that stand between them and greater stability.
