The City of Riverside is accepting applications for the position of HOUSING CASE MANAGER (Confidential) to fill one (1) vacancy in the Department of Housing and Human Services. The eligibility list established may be used to fill the current and/or upcoming vacancies within this classification for up to six (6) months. The ideal candidate will have experience providing and conducting housing case management, completing individual service plans, counseling, crisis intervention, resources referral, and case management to formerly homeless individuals and families. This position may include weekend hours to address emergency issues. Housing Case Manager, under general supervision, to conduct mobile outreach and provide intake and assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, resource referral, case management and assistance with obtaining housing, developing life skills/income, and achieving greater self-determination to homeless individuals and families on the streets, in service venues and other locations where they can be found in the City of Riverside; or to a pre-selected caseload of applicants and/or recipients.
