About The Position

This position is responsible for custodial cleaning for portions of on-campus housing locations, assisting Area/Building Managers, and ensuring effectiveness of custodial cleaning. Will also help turn around housing areas from conferences on Saturdays. This is a temporary position that will end September 1st, 2026.

Requirements

• A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
• Positive attitude and willingness to work and be part of a team.
• Must have regular and consistent attendance at scheduled shift.
• Able to work with potentially hazardous chemicals independently.
• Ability to work independently and in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Clean various portions of your assigned location with a team of workers
• Assist full-time managers with building projects and tasks
• Inspect assigned locations to ensure they are meeting cleanliness standards
• Help clean buildings on Saturday in preparation for the next week’s conference
