Research Assistant (TEMPORARY - part-time, 17.5 hours/week)

The Hill Lab is hiring a part-time, temporary research associate to work on molecular genetics experiments to determine causes of Congenital Heart Defects. Requirements
- A firm commitment to the mission of BYU.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a molecular biology lab.
- Competency using molecular biology techniques, including PCR, transformation, bacterial cell culture, and enzymatic reactions.
- Training in zebrafish animal husbandry.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with the SciNote virtual lab book.
Responsibilities
- Conduct experiments using molecular biology techniques, including PCR, transformation, bacterial cell culture, and enzymatic reactions.
- Breed zebrafish and conduct experiments on the embryos.
- Record and report results accurately and concisely.
