About The Position

Brigham Young University (BYU) is seeking a temporary, part-time Housing Building Operations Associate to assist with custodial cleaning and building operations for on-campus housing locations. This role involves ensuring cleanliness standards are met, supporting Area/Building Managers with various tasks, and preparing housing areas for conferences. The position is temporary and will conclude on September 1st, 2026.

• Must have regular and consistent attendance at scheduled shift.
• Able to work with potentially hazardous chemicals independently.
• Ability to work independently and in a small team.
• Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints must hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.

Nice To Haves

• Previous custodial work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial cleaning for assigned portions of on-campus housing locations.
• Assist Area/Building Managers with building projects and tasks.
• Ensure the effectiveness of custodial cleaning and that assigned locations meet cleanliness standards.
• Help turn around housing areas from conferences on Saturdays.
