About The Position

The production associate is responsible for cleaning, processing, and pricing houseware merchandise. The role includes maintaining accurate donation records and providing completed donation receipts to donors. Associates are expected to interact professionally and cooperatively with customers, donors, and coworkers, and to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Ability to respond to telephone calls, written correspondence, and other auditory and visual stimulation.
• Ability to remain calm under stress and have the emotional and physical stamina to handle a variety of stressful situations.
• Ability to frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, and walk.
• Ability to frequently lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to occasionally climb stairs or inclined surfaces.
• Ability to occasionally work outside during night hours and/or inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Clean houseware items to support optimum pricing.
• Price each piece using the Good, Better, Best pricing system.
• Maintain accurate donation records and issue completed donation receipts to donors.
• Demonstrate professionalism and a friendly, cooperative attitude toward customers, donors, and coworkers.
• Multitask and make quick decisions in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Maintain punctuality and dependable attendance.
• Perform other duties as instructed by the Manager.
