About The Position
The Houseperson responds promptly to requests from guests and other departments and identifies and reports preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. The role performs a variety of tasks to keep guestrooms, work areas, and hotel premises clean and orderly. This is an opening-team opportunity at the AC Hotel & Moxy Dallas Uptown, a dual-brand hotel combining AC Hotels’ European-inspired style with Moxy’s bold, playful energy.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
- Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
- Maintain guestrooms, work areas, and hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner.
- Receive linen supplies from floor shoots.
- Maintain housekeeping carts.
- Remove trash collected by room attendants.
- Walk assigned floors at the beginning and end of the shift to collect newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, and soiled linen.
- Pick up clean linen and refill the par stock of linen in each floor pantry.
