About The Position
We are seeking a hands-on dynamic individual to join our team. The Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel and providing guests with quality service in a timely and friendly manner.
Requirements
- Hotel experience a plus
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Able to bend and stoop
- Able to climb ladders
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Availability on weekends and holidays.
- Must have valid driver's license and have a good driving record.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, stairwells, outdoor area, and parking lots.
- Guest room - preventative maintenance program
- Drive hotel courtesy shuttle up to two miles around hotel
- Setting up and maintaining the complimentary hotel lobby functions including coffee service and water service.
- Cleaning and setting up meeting functions rooms.
- Assist with the delivery and restocking housekeeping stations.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables throughout the property, including outdoor spaces and parking lot.
- Support room attendants by supplying clean linens, towels, and guest supplies as needed.
- Support room attendants by stripping linens and removing trash from guest rooms as needed.
- Maintain equipment and storage areas in an organized manner.
- Delivering service items to guest rooms upon request from the front desk.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
