About The Position

The Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments in public spaces. This role involves handling guest complaints to ensure satisfaction, observing all safety and security procedures, and performing cleaning duties according to franchise and hotel standards. The Houseperson also completes additional deep cleaning and seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum one year cleaning experience.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hotel experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cleans hotel public areas as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.
• Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints.
• Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
