About The Position

The Houseperson assists Guestroom Attendants and helps maintain cleanliness, organization, and supplies in assigned areas at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. The starting rate is $25.3972 per hour. The role requires working varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Keep assigned areas clean and neat.
• Clean ash urns; clean and dust lamps, mirrors, pictures, and other fixtures; and mop and clean marble or tile floors in assigned areas.
• Deliver requested items, such as refrigerators, pillows, rollaways, and cribs, to guest rooms.
• Empty trash and remove linen from Guestroom Attendants’ carts as needed.
• Maintain inventory levels, deliver supplies to assigned lockers, and stock lockers.
• Follow Quick Flood Response, safety, general clean, pull room, and quarterly mattress-flipping procedures.
• Clean restrooms in assigned areas; vacuum halls, lobbies, and edges; and clean hall railings, wallpaper marks, stairwells, and lockers.
