About The Position

The Houseperson/Runner assists and supports Supervisors and Housekeepers in meeting quality and timeliness standards. The role requires following the company mission and values while helping maintain clean, organized, and well-supplied resort operations. The Houseperson/Runner supports unit turnovers, responds to guest needs, and helps ensure a safe working environment. The position is part-time, with work at Holiday Inn Club Vacations.

Requirements

Ability to lift 75 pounds, with or without accommodation.
Ability to make decisions.
Planning and scheduling capabilities.
Ability to read, write, and do basic math.

Willingness to work irregular hours.
A valid driver's license is required for certain locations.

Responsibilities

Maintain a high standard of excellence.
Stock storage closets and maintain their cleanliness and organization.
Assist with stripping units of soiled linens as directed.
Remove soiled linens and trash from units.
Prepare linen and supply bags and deliver them to units.
Walk assigned buildings or floors to ensure they are free of linen, trash, and equipment.
Report unit maintenance issues according to company procedure.
Report lost and found items to the Executive Housekeeper.
Move furniture as directed.
Ensure a safe working environment at each site and office.
Perform duties related to site operations as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.
Maintain urgency and help ensure units are turned on time.
Arrive promptly for assignments and appointments.
Use supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively.
Assist with linen inventories and supplies as directed.
Help resolve guest complaints promptly and build positive customer relations.
Assist resort guests and owners and make guest deliveries as directed.
Become knowledgeable about the resort.
