About The Position

The Houseperson/Runner assists and supports Supervisors and Housekeepers in meeting quality and timeliness standards while following MasterCorp’s mission statement and values. The role helps maintain resort cleanliness and organization, prepares and delivers linens and supplies, supports guest service, and helps ensure units are turned on time. The position may involve irregular hours and requires a passion for cleanliness, a strong work ethic, and the ability to assist resort guests and owners.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of excellence.
• Stock storage closets and maintain their cleanliness and organization.
• Assist in stripping units of soiled linens as directed.
• Remove soiled linens and trash from units.
• Prepare linen and supply bags as directed.
• Deliver linen and supply bags to units.
• Walk assigned buildings or floors to ensure they are free of linens, trash, and equipment.
• Report unit maintenance issues according to company procedures.
• Report lost and found items to the Executive Housekeeper.
• Move furniture as directed.
• Help ensure a safe working environment at each site and office.
• Perform duties related to site operation as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.
• Maintain urgency to ensure units are turned on time.
• Be prompt with assignments and appointments.
• Use supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively.
• Assist with linen inventories and supplies as directed.
• Help resolve guest complaints promptly.
• Build strong, positive customer relations.
• Assist resort guests and owners.
• Make guest deliveries as directed.
• Become knowledgeable about the resort.
