About The Position
Sun Hospitality Resort Services is hiring a full-time Houseman in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, at $16.00 per hour. The role supports a smooth guest experience by keeping shared spaces and behind-the-scenes areas clean, stocked, and ready, with an emphasis on safety and customer service. The Houseman checks in with the team to identify priorities, moves throughout the property to keep it clean and running smoothly, communicates over radio, and helps guests as needed. Priorities may change with arrivals, departures, and last-minute requests. At the end of the shift, the Houseman ensures key areas are ready for the next shift.
Requirements
- Reliable attendance and a positive, service-minded attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and clear communication.
- Ability to lift, move, and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Flexibility to adjust priorities as needs change.
Responsibilities
- Maintain corridors and public areas.
- Remove trash.
- Deliver linens and supplies.
- Assist housekeeping with room readiness.
- Help move furniture and complete basic set-ups.
- Respond promptly to guest and team requests.
- Check in with the team to determine priorities and adjust as needs change.
- Communicate with the team over radio.
- Monitor areas for issues that could affect guest comfort or safety.
- Prepare key areas for the next shift.
