About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a service-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor/Inspector to help maintain cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and safety standards across hotel suites and public areas. The role includes inspecting rooms and public spaces, ensuring associates have appropriate supplies and equipment, training and monitoring associates on safety, and performing housekeeping duties as needed. The supervisor may act as Manager on Duty and must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Requirements

At least two years of experience in a leadership housekeeping position.
At least a high school education.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
Excellent time management skills.

Post-high-school education is preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, and linens are clean and in good repair.
Ensure associates have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms, including nametags, gloves, and goggles.
Train associates on safety standards and consistently enforce those standards; identify unsafe behavior and retrain associates as appropriate.
Complete accident investigations and take steps to prevent future accidents.
Perform housekeeping duties, including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning.
Verify and update the status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
Randomly select assigned rooms to check cleanliness.
Perform opening and closing shift duties.
Notify the General Manager and/or Chief Engineer of necessary maintenance repairs.
Monitor cleanliness of the hotel, including the parking lot and exterior entrances.
Act as Manager on Duty when required.
Work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
