About The Position

Housekeeping Staff perform day-to-day housekeeping activities as directed by the Housekeeping Supervisor, helping maintain the facility in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner. The role includes cleaning and sanitizing assigned areas, following established procedures and infection control protocols, and using and maintaining cleaning products and equipment properly. Staff also report maintenance or safety issues and provide customer service to residents and staff.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is a plus but is not required.
Working knowledge and proper use of cleaning products and equipment.
Basic understanding of infection control protocols.
Customer service-oriented attitude.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing.
Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and other public areas.
Maintain assigned areas in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.
Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols.
Properly use and maintain cleaning products and equipment.
Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
Report maintenance or safety issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Provide customer service to residents and staff.
