About The Position

The Housekeeping Inspector is responsible for hotel cleanliness and for helping the property meet its quality and service standards, including the goal of maintaining a clean, crisp property where everything works. The role maintains cleanliness in guest rooms, public areas, and employee areas; supports department productivity and expense goals; and helps ensure housekeeping personnel are trained and company policies are applied fairly. The inspector also promotes the company and hotel missions, with an emphasis on superior guest service and product quality, and maintains a professional, collaborative approach with other managers and departments. This is a full-time position at Holiday Inn Express Hampton in Hampton, Virginia. The estimated pay range is $16.00–$17.00 per hour. The actual offer is determined based on factors including relevant experience, specialized skills, qualifications, and location within Virginia. Morning, evening, holiday, and weekend availability is required.

Requirements

At least two years of experience as a housekeeper at a property with 100 or more rooms.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
A guest-first/service approach.
Strong organizational skills.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Availability for morning, evening, holiday, and weekend work.
