About The Position

The Housekeeping Room Attendant cleans and maintains hotel guest rooms in accordance with established cleanliness and quality standards, ensuring arriving guests find rooms that are clean, functional, and welcoming. The role replenishes guest amenities and supplies, assists with deep-cleaning projects and other housekeeping duties, responds promptly and professionally to guest requests, and follows procedures for cleaning, safety, and handling guest belongings. The attendant works with the housekeeping team to complete daily room assignments and meet deadlines. Previous hotel housekeeping experience, including guest-room cleaning, is required. The role has open availability needs and works primarily morning shifts, typically 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. The position is with Motto by Hilton Washington DC City Center, managed by Modus by PM Hotel Group, in Washington, DC. The hourly wage range is $20 to $22.

Requirements

Previous hotel housekeeping experience is required, including experience cleaning guest rooms and maintaining hotel cleanliness standards.
Take pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards and providing excellent guest service.
Be organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Have good communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude toward guests and colleagues.
Be able to work independently while contributing to a team.
Have open availability to work primarily morning shifts, typically 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Be able to move throughout the hotel and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
