About The Position

Lorien Mount Airy is hiring a Porter / Floor Tech to join its cleaning staff and Environmental Services team. The role provides daily care for the building and helps maintain a clean and safe environment for residents. The position includes daily floor care, cleaning shared spaces, waste collection, supply restocking, and operating equipment to scrub and polish floors and shampoo carpets. The schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with availability every other Saturday and Sunday required. The posting lists full-time, part-time, and PRN options.

Requirements

• Be available to work every other weekend, including Saturday and Sunday.
• Be able to safely lift, push, and pull 25–50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily floor care services.
• Clean common areas, including bathrooms, the lobby, and other shared spaces.
• Gather and take out garbage.
• Restock supplies and put away inventory orders.
• Use equipment to scrub and polish flooring and shampoo carpets.
• Adhere to strict safety and health requirements.
• Collect trash.
