Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire housekeeping department, ensuring daily operations run smoothly and efficiently
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop housekeeping teams; conduct performance reviews and address performance issues
  • Maintain and enforce cleanliness and attractiveness standards for guest rooms and public areas
  • Assign and adjust cleaning tasks based on occupancy rates and staffing guides
  • Provide quality control training, ensure uniform compliance, and enforce safety and chemical usage guidelines
  • Manage departmental budgets, maintain payroll accuracy, and report on operational performance
  • Coordinate daily special cleaning projects and linen handling, including inventory and distribution
  • Respond promptly to guest or management housekeeping requests
  • Perform housekeeping duties when staffing levels are low
