About The Position

The Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor directs the overall operations of the department to provide a clean, well-maintained, homelike environment and quality laundry services in a skilled nursing facility. The role ensures operations comply with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the community. The supervisor follows health, sanitation, and infection-control policies and maintains standards of practice established by the community’s administration and its Housekeeping and Laundry Policies and Procedures.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Previous experience in housekeeping and/or laundry, preferably in healthcare or the hospitality industry.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Direct the overall operations of the housekeeping and laundry department.
Provide a clean, well-maintained, and homelike environment for residents.
Provide quality laundry services.
Follow health, sanitation, and infection-control policies.
Maintain standards of practice established by the community’s administration and Housekeeping and Laundry Policies and Procedures.
