About The Position

The Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant is primarily responsible for keeping the facility clean, safe, and comfortable in accordance with Trilogy Standards and applicable federal and state regulations. The role includes routine and deep cleaning, following infection-control procedures, and properly handling and storing work areas, equipment, tools, and supplies. When assigned laundry duties, the assistant washes and dries resident laundry and linens, delivers and puts away laundered items, maintains equipment, and labels resident laundry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, family members, and employees, including resident rooms and bathrooms, common areas, offices, and employee areas.
• Complete daily cleaning assignments and deep-cleaning assignments for move-ins and move-outs.
• Perform isolation cleaning according to established infection-control procedures.
• Keep work and assigned areas clean and ensure equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored, including before breaks, mealtimes, and the end of the workday.
• When performing laundry tasks, wash and dry resident laundry and linens, deliver and put away laundered items, properly use, store, and maintain equipment, and label resident laundry.
