About The Position

The Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant is primarily responsible for ensuring that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner in accordance with Trilogy Standards and federal and state regulations. The role includes daily and deep cleaning assignments, infection-control cleaning, and, when assigned laundry duties, washing, drying, labeling, delivering, and putting away resident laundry and linens. The position is located at The Meadows of Leipsic in Leipsic, Ohio.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, family members, and employees, including resident rooms and bathrooms, common areas, offices, and employee areas.
• Perform daily cleaning assignments and deep cleaning for move-ins and move-outs.
• Perform isolation cleaning procedures in accordance with established infection-control procedures.
• Keep work and assigned areas clean and properly store equipment, tools, and supplies, including before leaving areas for breaks, mealtimes, and at the end of the workday.
• When performing laundry tasks, wash and dry resident laundry and linens, deliver and put away laundered items, properly use, store, and maintain equipment, and label resident laundry.
