About The Position

The Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant is primarily responsible for ensuring that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner in accordance with Trilogy Standards and federal and state regulations. The role includes maintaining resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and employee areas. Depending on assigned laundry duties, the assistant also washes and dries resident laundry and linens, delivers and puts away laundered items, maintains and properly stores equipment, and labels resident laundry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, family members, and employees, including resident rooms and bathrooms, common areas, offices, and employee areas.
• Perform daily cleaning assignments and deep cleaning for move-ins and move-outs.
• Perform isolation cleaning procedures in accordance with established infection control procedures.
• Keep work and assigned areas clean and ensure equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored, including before leaving areas for breaks, mealtimes, and the end of the workday.
• When performing laundry tasks, wash and dry resident laundry and linens, deliver and put away laundered items, properly use, store, and maintain equipment, and label resident laundry.
